Stream enables users to create and manage their own personal connection groups. These groups are based on whom you are connected with inside Stream. Connection Groups are private and secure environments within the Stream Intranet platform that enable selected groups of people to collaborate on projects, publish related documents, comment on tasks and share resources. There is no limit to the number of connection groups that a user can create, or the number of connection groups that a user can join.
All content published to a connection group by invited users are only visible to the other users within the group, and remain hidden from all other users inside the Stream Intranet platform. When performing a search within Stream, any content that resides inside a connection group will only be displayed to the end user if they are also a member of the connection group.
All users within the connection group can view other connection group members, and can also click to view their profiles. Connection Groups enable other team members to connect with users they may not already be connected with.
